The Stowe Co-Op wants to thank our wonderful community of staff, parents, and friends for making our Open House event held Wednesday, August 17^th a success!

New teachers, Jackie Mackner, Kelly Holt, and Riley Lumsden, and returning teacher Lauren Brassard, and new director Debbie Orr, welcomed families old and new to the Co-Op into their classrooms, and we were excited to show-off our new playground after our old one was destroyed by flood this past April.

Special thanks to Alissa Kissell, a Co-Op Parent, who took the lead in our tremendous playground restructuring project and who dedicated her summer to ensure our children had a safe new play environment for the start of school this fall.  We’d also like to extend our sincerest gratitude to new Co-Op parents, Ian and Stacy Ambler of Ambler Architecture Ecological Design, who turned our playground ideas into an enhanced reality.

Orientation will be held Saturday, August 27^th from 9:30-11:30 am.  We will celebrate the grand re-opening of our playground and parents along with their children will have the opportunity to speak with staff, visit the classrooms, meet other Co-Op families, and gather information for the start of the school year.  The Co-Op still has some limited availability.  Please contact Kirsten Alexander at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
